WASTELAND

The days and nights that come no more
And round us all sorrow grows;
The sun and moon have died
And in our hearts are black lies;
The stars whirl in a dark universe
And over us all the dust of death descends.

I dream of Love in gold and blue
My last burning vision of truth,
I dream of Love with haunted hopes
The first brief glimpse of a lost cause:
The end was deeper than the worst doom.

The days and nights that come no more
And round us all the desperation grows;
The earth and sky have gone blind
And our merciless souls are empty tombs;
The comets no longer blaze the cosmos
And over us all, echoes of our dying loss.

HORIZONS

Across the wide expanse
Of an endless vista,
I search the thin line
Of sky and land,
For the elusive realm
Of certain contact
Between heaven and earth.

Ever I stare into the eyes
Of world-weary people;
I search the dim flicker
And subtle sparkle
For the elusive realm
Of certain contact
Between body and soul.

VISION

There was a land
>From which I could not return;
There was a dream
>From which I could not awaken;
There was a place
Suspended in timelessness;
There was a crowning grace
When I saw lightning flash
Deep into the dark Universe.

This land, this dream,
This place of lost grace,
Was my Kingdom beyond
      Here and Now,
A silver satin tomorrow
In a Home of Eternal
      Light and Love.

Once seen, never forgotten;
A land forever calling
  Come, come Home...

WELLNESS

The feeling of sweet simplicty,
The feeling of warmth, promise,
A feeling of sleeping serenity,
Lost to reflection, contemplation,
Staring at something or nothing,
Unwilling to resist the impulse
Of these blank, blissful moments...

   This feeling
Is not empty and meaningless,
Nor unproductive and useless;
  This feeling is wellness
       Through inner power,
Touching our deepest awareness.
