Please Forgive Me for Such Rapt Ecstasy ~ Prelude

what can be as crystal clear,
to a man as that of a woman's tear,
perfection emerges to make the mistakes smear,
for the love of fear,
releasing the burdens that we wear,
she whispers in my gentle ear...

it all sounded so divinely simple; alas, so the meeting was struck,
my senses so numbingly drunk for into this pit I have sunk,
such are these tragedies of mine when my heart broke,
the knock on knell's door makes my misery soar,

there she was! camouflaged by loveliness' everglade in splendor,
fastened to her delicious neck, a pendant worthy of honor's ardor,
clasped in her delicate hands was the single white rose,
music in the misty air on lovers' evening instigates a waltz to propose,

the moonlight illuminates our eyes gazing inwardly at each other,
our palms clumsily glide into embrace ...
my heart's blood begins to race ...
perspiring two alike alone with themselves on this very night by the river,

copulate passion alight, make love in the tide of a stormy ocean,
seal your abandoned sin in my heated kiss,
bliss are you who endows poetry in motion,
we will always have poetic justice ...
