As an Interpol investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of discourse at Bourgeois University got underway yesterday, speakers at a memorial service at Zopie's Caffeine Fix eulogized the departed before a stunned gathering of mourners.

"First Chivalry was dead, then God, and now Discourse! What's next? Truth?" asked one speaker, who seemed surprised at the small crowd's response to her call to arms. "One of the problems we're facing here is that a lot of these people are in denial," said a counselor who id not wish to be identified (claiming that identity presupposes a neo-Hegelian concept of the self which she finds problematic). "They can't or won't admit what's happened. Discourse is dead. Killed by a clown. But most of these students don't seem to know it." An informal RT survey confirmed this finding.

One student, a Brooklyn native, asked "Which course has been killed? Dey keep telling me dat dis course is dead! I don't know which course dey mean!"

Said another: "I don't know what's going on. I just came in here for a mocha java. Besides, where is Bourgeois University • • did we play them •
