Keith,

    I agree with your pst so will not gild the lily on that, but I
hope you do not ignore the "Syracuse tendency" only on the basis of
its Buffalo Mode. I know Ebert's worth best, but I have also read
Zarvarzadeh & Morton with profit. All of them make a bit too much
use of scare quotes, and some probably unnecessary jargon, but one
can't have everything. I think at least one of their coinages,,
"post-al," is useful, and the phrase "ludic feminism" is at least
defensible and possibly a gain.

    When I retire in just four weeks now, Ebert is high on my reading
and re-reading list, and I will try to report to the list on their
work.
