PANIC LEFTIST: FRAME SIX

We take Mr. Philion's question about our use of "un-informed" (there must
be some good pomo explanation he writes) pedagogically--literally though
his question is marked by an ironic tone the purpose of which is to once
more attack any attempt at theoretical analysis.

While "uninformed" is simply a state of not knowing, the "un-informed" is
a deliberate cultivation of the cult of ignorance by drawing upon, for
example, Hegel and Goethe to state that "theory" is gray and "life"
(i.e., experience., i.,e. spontaneity, i.e. unanalytical feeling...) is
"green". The desperation of the net-left to exorcise "theory" (the
knowledge of totality) is so great that the quoters do not realize the
irony of their quoting: Hegel and Goethe are THEORISTS...A little
historical knowledge of philosophy and science would have shown the
quoters that when Hegel and Goethe refer to "theory" as "gray" by THEORY
they mean the "positivist" theory (sciences) of their times that were
marginalizing (speculative) thinking.... Marxist theory is critique-al of
both positivism and rationalism...it is a dialectical practice....
