  Thanks for the report. These carpal tunnel injuries are the chilling
consequences of advanced capitalism's deskilling and breaking down work into
highly repetitive tasks.

  Mechanics I work with come down with it regularly. Of course, we on the
railroad can sue for damages, its called hitting the Conrail lottery. Workers
such as yourself have no such recourse. I recall seeing a checkout clerk in a
supermarket with both arms splinted up to the elbow, still waving packages over
the scanner.

  I hope you stick around. Posts like yours are a sure antidote to the airly
dismissive theorizing we have been subjected to lately.
