About Democratic chances
This year the Democrats should be cruising; however, party identification trends have now turned against them.
McCain, Guiliani, Rice and Powell are probably the only four Republicans the party could have nominated to go up against the Democrats and have a chance. The other reason that the polls are in a tie is that the top two Democrats have severe underlying political problems.
For a generic Democrat versus Republican contest, the Democrats should have voted for Gravel in the third tier or someone like Bill Richardson. (The John Edwards affair is totally fake, created for political purposes by the same exact reporters who created a fake story about Ted Kennedy.) Instead, big money went to Democrats showing the willingness to have big problems. So now the Democrats are tied and issue threats desperately to stay afloat.
We say it is very sporting of them, because everyone loves a 45% to 45% race. What may differ this time around is that Zogby says Obama can win without Florida, Ohio or Missouri by taking Nevada, Colorado and New Mexico.
What Democrats can accomplish
The main problem with people to MIM's right is that they prioritize Amerikan issues. So when we asked for leadership of the "RCP" and did not get it, one persyn answered point-blank that she wants "health insurance" as the reason she would not accept the MIM line.
Only MIM people put the international class struggle first, the international 90/10 as we call it in strategic terms. To most untrained people, the "Revolutionary Communist Party" looks just a tad to MIM's right, but in fact there is not a hairline fracture of difference but a whole chasm separating the two. In practice, we cannot count on them to put the international class struggle first. They seek to use the international class struggle to get health care for rich people, and then call what MIM is doing "academic," mainly because it does not affect them first as Amerikans.
The people to MIM's right are Amerikan nationalists. As supporters of a health care plan and the labor aristocracy, they deserve the epithet of "national socialists."
What Democrats have accomplished
One of the reasons that Democrats resent the international proletariat is that Democrats are like fat people who look in the mirror and see super-models. Many think of themselves as ex-Marxists who bring progress to the world, when in fact they are usually intense expressions of decadence.
Given all that, it is no wonder that political independents have to stay away from the Democratic Party.
About Democratic death threats
The Democrats in some mafia-like guise are issuing death threats against MIM on a regular basis on behalf of Obama. That is nothing new since having to deal with the "Revolutionary Communist Party" wing of the Democratic Party.
Death threats against isolated migrant worker families would be a problem--an ethical problem in the united $tates. Death threats against bourgeois families are really a problem for the threat-makers.
With spies swarming around MIM, an expansion of threats to MIM's families becomes a matter of instigating an intra-bourgeois war, CIA vs. CIA etc. That's not to mention intelligent people outside the united $tates.
Particularly desperate crackertopians call up some contract whitey reserves against MIM, but in actuality they only seal their demographic doom all the faster by taking on bourgeois families. People who think MIM can be threatened or bribed obviously have not paid much attention.
It is evident that the Democrats have not given much thought to how the international proletariat makes itself felt. No doubt there are resentments, but sooner or later the imperialist parties will have to deal with reality.
Our suggestion to the Democrats would be to cut the shit and earn their way instead of hoping someone else hands them victory. Political reality has changed and winning should account for new political forces.
