It will be held October 1-2, 1993 at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel in Winipeg, Manitoba, and it is sponsored by the Medical Research Council, the Natural Sciences & Engineering Council, the Social Science & Humanities Research Council of Canada, and The University of Manitoba. Sessions include "the nature, advantages and disavantages of electronic journal publication," "practical implementations: editing and production," "distribution of electronic journals," "issues of quality," "legal issues", "changing technology for information access I," and a couple others. Perhaps a world-system delegate should attend? Are any among us living any where near Winipeg? More information can be obtained from Ms. Helga Dyck, umih@ccu.umanitoba.ca
